Ocean Tide shows today’s tides the moment you look at it: the high and low times, whether the water is rising or falling, the weather, sunrise and sunset, and the moon. There’s nothing to unlock and no app to open.
It uses official NOAA tide predictions for the station you choose, on a paper-like e-ink screen that’s easy to read in daylight.

Easy on the eyes
E-ink has no glare and no backlight, and it looks like printed paper, so it stays easy to read in a bright room. Like paper, it needs a little room light and doesn’t glow at night. The 7.5″ sits on a magnetic detachable stand; the 10.2″ has a kickstand.

- Enter your home Wi-Fi password.

Does it work outside the US?
It uses NOAA’s US prediction stations, so it covers the US coasts, the Gulf, Hawaii and US territories. Other countries aren’t supported yet.
Is the tide height a live reading?
It’s NOAA’s predicted tide for right now — the same predictions tide tables and charts use — not a live water-level gauge.
Can I change the station later?
Yes. Run setup again from your phone and choose another station — handy for a boat or a second home.
How often does it update?
Every hour out of the box. You can choose anything from 30 minutes to 24 hours.
7.5″ or 10.2″?
The 7.5″ tri-color ($149) suits a desk, shelf or nightstand. The 10.2″ four-color ($229) is easier to read from across a room.
How does it stand?
