It gets the forecast for your location from Apple Weather over your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi every 30 minutes, then goes back to sleep, so it runs for weeks on a charge. No app, no account, no subscription.

Easy on the eyes
E-ink has no glare and no backlight, and it looks like printed paper, so it’s easy to read in any lit room. Like paper, it needs a little room light and doesn’t glow at night. Stand it on a desk or shelf, or put it on the fridge with its built-in magnets.
Optional CO₂ sensor
Choose the CO₂ version for a bedroom, home office or any room with little fresh air. It measures carbon dioxide in parts per million (ppm):
- Good: under 1,000 ppm
- Getting stuffy: 1,000–1,400 ppm
- High: above 1,400 ppm — a room can feel stuffy and it gets harder to focus, so open a window

Questions people ask
Do I need an iPhone or an Apple account?
No. The forecast comes from Apple’s weather service, but the station fetches it on its own. You set it up once from any phone or laptop browser.
Is the time on screen a clock?
No — it’s the time of the last update. The screen redraws every 30 minutes, which is what lets it run for weeks on a charge.
Does it work on 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
It needs a 2.4 GHz network. Nearly every home router offers 2.4 GHz alongside 5 GHz; if you’re not sure about yours, write to me before ordering.
How long does the battery last?
Weeks per charge at the default 30-minute refresh. Weak Wi-Fi and cold rooms shorten it; you can also leave it on USB-C power permanently.
What does the CO₂ option add?
A sensor that shows your room’s CO₂ in ppm plus indoor temperature and humidity. Under 1,000 ppm is good; above that a room can feel stuffy and it gets harder to focus — it’s a nudge to open a window.
Can it hang on a wall?
The built-in magnets hold it on a fridge or any steel surface. For a painted wall, stick up a small steel plate first, or use the stand on a shelf.

I think this is a fantastic product. The “case” appears to be 3D printed but that is definitely not a problem as it looks great. The magnetic stand is strong so it doesn’t slide. The screen is extremely clear and easy to read. I only wish it updated more often. Great job!

Ihor was very helpful answering my questions. 1-you do not need apple account for this item to work. And 2-When I saw that the item has a USB slot, but I ordered the battery version, I thought I received the wrong one. But you are able to charge an internal battery. My priority was cord-free, but I love how that makes this more sustainable. I am so happy with this!

The only thing is that I did not understand before ordering was that the clock on the machine is not the accurate time. Instead it show when the weather report was last updated. Having the accurate time would have been so nice.

By far the coolest thing I own! Setup took like 30 seconds, battery is on pace to last several months, connectivity is great, data refreshes every hour. I keep it on my dresser so I know how to dress for the weather each day. My only minor complaint is that I wish it showed the percent chance of rain and numeric rainfall amounts each hour, instead of just a raindrop icon, but it’s not that big of a deal. Also a wall mounting hole would be nice, but not a big deal either.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I’m so excited to have it. I love the minimalist look. It displays exactly the information I need without being intrusive. I’ve only had it a couple days but it is already an integral part of my morning routine. Plus it was really easy to set up. My one wish is that I could customize the information that is displayed, specifically: it shows the weather for the rest of the day–2hrs from now, 4hrs, 6hrs, 8hrs. Id rather see 3hrs, 6hrs, 9hrs, 12hrs. So in the morning, I know what the evening weather is like. Its pretty minor thing, but just something to know! I still love it!!
